Suzan Gannett

Digital prints, Children’s books, Woodburning, Glass beads and Jewelry

Suzan Gannett is a multi-media artist.  Mrs. Gannett uses her iPad and the program, Procreate, to create her work.  The pandemic and isolation allowed her to increase her skill and the knowledge of the program.  It has been a challenge that she has loved. A retired educator of 31 years, she is a children’s author and illustrator with over thirty books to her credit.  She makes her own flame work beads which she incorporates into her own jewelry. Recently she has added sweet little flame work snails, flowers and, of course, birds and bees.  She has been collaborating with wood turner, Dr. Fred Kelsey, by using pyrography, a fancy name for wood burning,  on his turned pieces.

Mrs. Gannett is currently President of Artistic Roots in Plymouth, New Hampshire.  She is a member of Women’s Caucus for the Art, New Hampshire. Visit her website, www.suzangannettcreations.com
