Free Children's Class with Suzan Gannett: Collage Landscapes

Dates and Times: Saturday, January 17, 11:00-noon

Description: Students will create a landscape using a wide variety of papers and sparkles.

Cost: There is no charge for this class, but registration is required. Please e-mail executivedirector@artisticroots.com to register or call the Gallery at (603) 536-2570.

Expressive Floral Drawing with Watercolor By Leah Kuehne

Date and Time: Tuesday, January 27, 1-3 p.m.

Description: In this class we will practice different methods for drawing flowers and then create loose and expressive watercolor paintings using a variety of other mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pastel and more. All levels welcome. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own or a sketchbook if you would like.

Semi-Private Class with Annette Mitchell

Dates and Times: Thursdays, 10 a.m.-noon on January 22, 29, February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5

Description: This CLASS is limited to 8 STUDENTS. You will receive personal instruction from Annette while forming a community of artists that critique one another’s work and offer support.

Creating Zen Landscapes with Suzan Gannett

Date and Time: February 12th, 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Description: Students will create a Zen Doodle Flower Design that will be matted and ready for framing. Suzan will take your design and make 4 cards for you to use. Cards will be at the shop on the following day.

Decorating with Sgraffito Technique with Na'ama Yacoby

Date and Time: February 26th, 1:45 to 3:45 PM

Description: Students will decorate one tumbler or two 4” tiles using the Sgraffito method. This allows you to carve a design into your tumbler or tiles. Your product will be glazed and fired and returned to the gallery within a couple of weeks. When registering, please explain which you would like to do.
