Our Membership Process

Membership at Artistic Roots is juried. Artists are invited to complete an online application and upload 3 to 5 images of their work for review. Once your application is received, a jury committee made up of current members will review your work and schedule a time to meet with you, view your work in person, and have an open conversation where we can answer questions and get to know you and your process.

Members are required to contribute two half days per month or one full day to support the gallery. Monthly dues are $40, due on the 20th of the preceding month, with a one-time joining fee of $45.

If you plan to leave the gallery, we ask for two months’ notice. The gallery retains 10% of all sales, with the remaining proceeds paid directly to the artist.

Artistic Roots is built on collaboration, shared responsibility, and a genuine love of art and community. We look forward to learning more about your work and welcoming artists who are excited to be an active part of the gallery.
