Irene Marocco
Fabric Art
I was born in Germany and emigrated to the USA in 1960. Over the years, I have pursued many hobbies. My husband, Dom, and I have enjoyed outdoor activities, including gardening, kayaking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. In addition, I have been doing crafts all my life. My love of sewing developed in elementary school. It started with a simple pincushion and over the years I have perfected the skills needed for successful sewing. It led to various projects, including making my own clothes. When I moved to New Hampshire in 1974 with Dom, I did custom draperies for an interior decorator. After that I got more and more into quilting and other fabric art, and started selling homemade items at craft fairs. My current craft items include framed fabric artwork, fabric wall hangings, table runners, Christmas ornaments, knitted and crocheted hats, scarfs, and much, much more.
