FREE CLASSES

Fluttering Butterflies with Liz Keefe

Date and Time: Saturday, May 11,10-11 am
Description: Children will make a garden on a paper plate. They will make a butterfly on a popsicle stick. The stick fits through a slit on the paper and flits from flower to flower.
Materials: Provided
Class Size: Limited to 10 Ages 3 and up.
Adults are welcome, too!

Acrylic Painting with Pam Charon

Date: Saturday, May 11th, 1:00-2:30 pm
Description: Learn to use acrylic painting and markers to create an 11X14 canvas
Limit: to 8 participants

Make a Russian Spiral Bracelet with Suzan Gannett

Date: Thursday, May 16th, 5-7:30 pm
Description: Learn a hand weaving bead technique to create your own bracelet.
Limit: to 8 participants

Felted Owls With Jayden Gaulocher-Bergmann

Date: Saturday, May 18th, 10-noon
Description: Learn the basics of needle felting to create a felted  owl.
Students will have the opportunity to add a personal touch to individual projects.

Watercolors with Suzan Gannett: Robins and Bluebirds

Dates: May 14th and May 21st, 1-3 pm
Description: Learn to use watercolor painting techniques with a variety of themes. These two classes are intended to be separate experiences. You can choose to attend one or both of the classes. Materials are included.
Themes: (1) Robin – May 14th (2) Bluebird – May 21st
Limit: to 8 participants

Introduction to Coptic Binding with Jong Kim

Dates: May 10th & 31st, 5-7:30 pm
Description: Learn basic Coptic Bookbinding structures favored by many readers and hobbyists, as it allows a book to lay completely open when flat and at an angle. Wood planks and binder’s boards will be used for covers of blank journals or sketchbooks that participants make. 
Limit: 10 – 12 participants. Each participant needs to bring a ruler and a pair of scissors.
