Mosaic Coasters with Na'ama Yacoby

Description: Students will learn how to create mosaic coasters from start to finish. This includes choosing tiles, pieces of pottery, and glass, gluing them on and then grouting your design. At least 2 students must sign up for this class to operate.

Description: Students will decorate 2 tiles measuring 4X4 inches using a technique that includes carving a design into the tile.

Description: This class will give you one on one time with Annette Mitchell and allows you to form a community of artists for learning and sharing. All skills and levels welcome.

Learning the Value of a Sketchbook on Zoom with Annette Mitchell and Suzan Gannett
Mondays, May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2, 9, and 16, 1-3 pm
The purpose of a sketchbook is to: improve drawing skills; work out plans for a project or commission, a place to brainstorm, and a place to experiment. We will provide you with a variety of activities to do using your sketchbook each week. Come and experiment and play with us. All skills and levels welcome. This class needs a 10 student minimum to run.

Patterns on Procreate with Suzan Gannett
Sundays, May 11 and May 18, 1-3 pm
Description: Have you ever wanted to create a design to place on fabric? You have come to the right place to learn how to do this. We will create a pattern each week from start to finish using the program, Procreate, an apple pencil or stylus and an iPad. At the end of the second class you will have two patterns that you can upload to websites like Spoonflower to create your own fabric, wallpaper or home goods.

Creating Watercolor Patterns with Leah Kuehne
Tuesday, May 20, 1-3 pm
Description: In this class we will explore a variety of ways to paint patterns with watercolor as well as how to embellish designs with pens. We will cover how to choose a color pallet as well as various watercolor techniques. Patterns are a wonderful way to practice brush control, paint constancy, and color mixing. Watercolor patterns make beautiful art, unique handmade cards, and relaxing sketchbook exercises. All levels welcome, and all materials supplied.

FREE CHILDREN'S CLASS
Making Toucans with Suzan Gannett
Saturday, May 24, 1-2 pm
Children will their own Toucan Birds using a variety of materials. Come and join the fun. Appropriate for 4 and above.

Learning About Color with Nancy Dirubbo

Description: Yes, you can make that color. You don't need a color recipe book or tubes and tubes of color. Using just a few colors and learning how colors play with each other, you can do it. Nancy will describe, provide demonstrations and you will mix paints, too. Whether you work in oils, acrylics or watercolors, you can learn to make any color. All materials provided.
